Job Description
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, monthly progress reports, billing, pre authorizations and discharge summaries.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and traumainformed care, etc.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical standards.
- Collaborate with Mental Health Assistant Director, PSR manager, health center staff, case managers, and other providers to provide holistic care.
- Paiiicipate in clinical supervision and team meetings.
- Should be able to function independently with minimal supervision.
- Should be able to provide physical assistance as needed during crisis with individuals.
- Monthly meetings with supervisor or more as needed.
- Support the assistant Director with department administrative duties for minimum five hours a week.
- Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Experience working with the population.
- Commitment to ethical and client centered practice.
Key Responsibilities
The therapist will provide individual and group therapy sessions while conducting clinical assessments and developing personalized treatment plans. They will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide administrative support to the department.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is required.
