Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Endocrinology Inpatient Diabetes Management

Key Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider will offer comprehensive care to adult patients with diabetes and/or stress or steroid induced hyperglycemia within the inpatient setting. This involves working closely with a team of NPs and PAs, coordinating care with other teams, and participating in daily rounding to adjust care plans.

Requirements

Applicants must be a Nurse Practitioner with a Master's or Doctorate or a Physician Assistant with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited program. Minimum requirements include State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure, active certifications/licenses including prescriptive authority, and an active DEA license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
