The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, plans, and provides treatment to patients to facilitate rehabilitation of language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. They are responsible for documenting patient progress in the electronic health record and participating in interdisciplinary rounds.
Candidates must hold a Master of Science or Arts degree in Communication Disorders and possess a valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required, along with a valid driver's license and auto insurance for home health visits.
