Key Responsibilities

Clinical Required: Provide patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification or registration and as required by Federal and State laws and regulations.

Performs clinical/patient responsibilities: Develops individualized nutrition care plans through assessment, diagnosis, nutrition intervention, monitoring and evaluating.

Creates medical nutrition care plan using established standards.

Follows and documents nutritional risk status, the nutritional care plan, the provision of education, and outcome goals in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related field.

Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) One year experience in providing nutritional consultations and assessments.

Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions as it relates to medical nutrition services.

Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.

Our Joan Secchia Pediatric Rehabilitation Hospital is planned for completion in Fall 2026, and we are also expanding our Acute Adult Inpatient Units in the meantime.
