This position offers day shifts only. Work with Advanced Recovery Systems in Salem, Oregon.
The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for facilitating daily group therapy sessions and developing evidence-based curriculum for patients. They also collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to create and update master treatment plans and coordinate discharge planning.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, with a bachelor's or master's degree in a behavioral health field preferred. A state SUD certification (such as CADC) and one year of experience in the behavioral health field are highly desired.
