Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist Assistant administers patient-centered physical therapy treatments and therapeutic programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress, educating patients and families, and participating in clinical instruction.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree or certificate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and possess current state licensure. Additionally, a valid driver's license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
