Job Description
Treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
- Master's Degree Nursing Required
Experience
- 1 year experience in a clinical specialty practice Preferred
- 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner Preferred
- Licenses
- PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required
- PA Registered Nurse License Required
- Prescriptive Authority Preferred
- Multi State Compact RN License Required Or
Key Responsibilities
The nurse practitioner will evaluate and treat patients while administering advanced nursing care in a clinical specialty. They will perform patient care activities including diagnosis and prescribing medical therapeutics under the direction of a licensed physician.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nursing along with PA Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses. At least one year of experience in a clinical specialty practice is preferred.
