Work Assignment Details

This position is to fill a Mental Health Professional role within our Youth Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. Due to the nature of the work, preference will be given to candidates who are at least fully licensed as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT at the time of application.

Provide all required Mental Health Professional duties as outlined in DHS 36.

Provide ongoing clinical consultation and support to program Service Facilitators to ensure consistent and supportive treatment is provided to youth and their families.

Review and attest to the applicant’s need for psychosocial rehabilitation services and medical and supportive activities to address the desired recovery goals.

Assure that a statement authorizing the proposed psychosocial rehabilitation services under the standards set forth is provided and filed in the consumer service record.

Provide feedback on all comprehensive assessments and summaries

Develop, implement, and evaluate service plans with recovery team if assigned in a service facilitator role which also includes evaluating the current DSM V diagnosis.

• Review and sign all assessments and recovery plans.
• Attend and participate in family team meetings and agency staff consultations as required.
• Attend and participate in CCS interdisciplinary recovery team meetings.

Function as CCS Service Facilitator as assigned or needed by CCS Supervisor and coordinate resources to meet specific consumer needs.

Consult with community agencies and families to maintain coordination and involvement in treatment process.

Coordinate consumer’s crisis services and work collaboratively with Waukesha County Emergency Mental Health program.

Provide clinical treatment psychotherapy to CCS consumers on an individual, group and family basis as deemed necessary through the consumer's recovery plan

• Maintain confidentiality of client-related information, maintain respectful treatment of consumers.
• Provide courtroom testimony as needed.
• Complete orientation training as required and meet regularly for clinical supervision.

Maintain skills and competence levels as policies and regulations change, attend department/staff meetings / trainings, and participate in continuing education training as required.

Adhere to approved social worker principles, methods, and practices, including the National Association of Social Worker’s (NASW) code of ethics.

• Minimum Training & Experience Requirements

1. Graduation from a recognized college or university with a master's degree in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational,) counseling and guidance, social work or closely related area.

2. Candidates must have Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor in Training, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Training, status as a minimum.

3. Two (2) years of post bachelor work experience in psychology (clinical, counseling, educational), counseling and guidance, social work or closely related area.
