Job Description

Optometrist: Serve Veterans and Make Thousands Per Month

Efficient, High-Pay Contractor Opportunity

Contract with our leading clinician-owned and led health company today! The Warrior Vets Medical Services team provides exemplary optometry services. We provide in-person care to current and former US Military veterans. Our team is seeking a licensed optometrist to conduct assessments for our veteran population.

We pay up to $150 per hour; you will receive compensation for each evaluation. We remit payment within 45 days of encounter documentation in our user-friendly records system.

Typical Appointments

In-person appointments consist of general optometry evaluations. Evaluations are performed once per veteran and typically take 60 minutes. There are no ongoing treatment needs for these veterans; it is a one-time encounter.

Our current need is M-F (8am-4pm). We efficiently schedule a series of evaluation appointments that last no more than a total of eight hours each day.

No Administrative Tasks Required

Our back-office support team handles all administrative work, including contracting with the Veterans Administration, liaising with contractors, and payment. This approach allows you to spend your time where it should be, with your patients.

Training and Experience

These evaluations make a difference in the lives of veterans and directly impact their access to the ongoing care they need.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted medical license in residing state (board certified or board eligible preferred, but not required)
  • 1+ year of clinical work experience
  • Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills

Enjoy the freedom to create your own custom schedules with the perfect work/life balance.

Warrior Vets Medical Services offers a variety of part-time and/or full-time options to our clinicians. Our part-time clinicians will work as independent contractors.
