Rehab Director - Physical Therapist or SLP-CCC

A full-time REHAB DIRECTOR position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Poughkeepsie, NY. This position is open to a Physical Therapist (or) SLP-CCC.

Facility is a busy five star subacute rehabilitation facility, minutes from Interstate 91 with a beautiful rehabilitation gym that has plentiful natural light. The 80 bed facility boasts a highly supportive management team focused on patient-centered care.

The rehabilitation department prides itself on its Fun and Functional Therapy Program with a grocery cart, mock grocery shopping area along with a variety of other functional materials and assessments to compliment the multiple modalities we utilize.

• Requirements: A successful Rehab Director will
• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide therapy services as needed
• Be a licensed Physical Therapist or SLP-CCC or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
