Job Description

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Cardiology & Vascular

Phoenix, AZ | Monday–Friday | $130,000–$180,000 Base + Bonus

A stable, well-known specialty clinic in Phoenix is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Cardiology and Vascular team. This is a great opportunity for a provider who wants a Monday–Friday outpatient role with strong earning potential, excellent clinicians, experienced support staff, and exposure to a high-demand specialty patient population.

Compensation includes a $130,000–$180,000 base salary plus bonus potential, with some providers earning $200,000+ annually.

This role is open to new graduates, though candidates with 2–3 years of cardiology, vascular, internal medicine, hospital medicine, primary care, urgent care, or related APP experience are preferred.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Provide outpatient care for patients with cardiovascular and vascular conditions
  • Perform patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and treatment plan reviews

Support management of hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, venous disease, and related conditions

  • Review labs, imaging, diagnostic studies, and clinical findings
  • Assist with pre-procedure and post-procedure follow-up care
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, risk reduction, lifestyle changes, procedures, and follow-up care
  • Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, vascular specialists, APPs, and clinical support staff
  • Coordinate referrals, testing, and continuity of care as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Support a team-based specialty clinic workflow
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an NP or PA in Arizona
  • Completion of an NP or PA program in the United States
  • NP or PA certification, as applicable
  • Interest in cardiology, vascular medicine, and specialty outpatient care
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • New graduates welcome
  • 2–3 years of relevant APP experience preferred
