About the Role

Join ARC of South Florida as a Occupational Therapist Assistant in United States. The Arc of South Florida provides educational and therapeutic services in center-based settings to children with developmental delays and disabilities. We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team of highly skilled therapists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing therapeutic services, including implementing treatment plans and activities tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Engage and motivate children during therapy sessions, working constructively to help them achieve their highest level of function
  • Document patient progress using electronic records management systems and ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Communicate effectively with team members and family members, contributing to a supportive environment for patient growth Skills:

Requirements

  • Valid Florida license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Must be willing to enroll as an Early Steps provider, if required.
  • Maintain professional liability insurance of $1M
