About the Role
Join NYU Langone Health as a Physical Therapist - Full Time, Days in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Covers all Physical therapy areas. Identifies clinical limitations and seeks guidance as necessary to address limitations.
- Voluntarily helps other staff members.
- Assists in the supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, the Rehabilitation Aide and the Rehabilitation PSA.
- Initially and ongoing, reviews medical record, observes and interviews patients, reviews medical histories including physicians’ diagnoses and orders.
Requirements
- Accepts assignments willingly. 4. Participates in activities addressing quality of service
- Seeks information regarding quality of care rendered by self and others under their supervision.
- Provides recommendations for developing or modifying guidelines based on outcome measures, effectiveness studies and clinical observations.
- Follows established guidelines for the delivery of physical therapy services. (eg, critical/clinical pathways, protocals)
