Key Responsibilities

The GYN Oncology Nurse Navigator facilitates patient care throughout the cancer continuum by providing education, resources, and support to patients and families. They act as an advocate to help patients overcome healthcare system barriers and ensure timely access to quality psychosocial and clinical care.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Alabama or Multistate nursing license and at least three years of nursing experience. Additional requirements include BLS certification and the ability to obtain OCN or ONN certification within two years of hire.
