  • About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life

This is an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who wants to build meaningful patient relationships while providing comprehensive women’s health, obstetric, and gynecologic care. You’ll work with patients across different stages of life, managing preventive needs as well as prenatal, postpartum, and general gynecologic concerns.

Your day will include comprehensive and episodic assessments, well-woman care, contraceptive counseling, STI evaluation and treatment, prenatal and postpartum management, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and patient education. You’ll have a dedicated Medical Assistant supporting your clinical workflow and will collaborate closely with physicians and other members of the care team when patients require additional evaluation or specialty management.

The practice is looking for an NP who is comfortable taking ownership of patient care while recognizing the value of a collaborative clinical environment. There are no on-call responsibilities and no travel requirements, allowing you to focus your time on direct patient care and continuity within the practice.

  • Why This Role Stands Out
  • No call and no travel, creating a more predictable clinical schedule
  • Dedicated Medical Assistant support for day-to-day patient care and clinic workflow
  • Broad women’s health exposure spanning preventive, obstetric, postpartum, and gynecologic care
  • Opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients across multiple stages of life
  • Collaborative environment with physician and interdisciplinary clinical support
  • Clinical autonomy within a patient-centered practice that values professional growth
  • What We’re Looking For
  • An FNP or WHNP with meaningful OB/GYN or women’s health experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and confidence managing common women’s health concerns
  • Experience with gynecologic exams, family planning, and obstetric care
  • A collaborative provider who can also manage patients with appropriate independence
  • Strong patient communication and education skills
  • A clinician who approaches sensitive healthcare conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive and episodic health assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions within the NP’s scope of practice.
  • Provide prenatal, postpartum, preventive, and general gynecologic care.
  • Perform well-woman examinations and appropriate gynecologic assessments and procedures.
  • Provide contraceptive counseling, family planning services, and STI testing and treatment.
  • Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic tests and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Collaboratively manage antenatal and postnatal care with physicians and other clinical colleagues.
  • Educate patients regarding health promotion, disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team when specialty services are needed.

Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards.

Incorporate current research and evidence-based practices into women’s health and OB/GYN care.

Provide compassionate guidance to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, reproductive health, and ongoing healthcare needs.

Required Qualifications
