Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (4-Day Workweek)

About the Role
As a Pulmonary Advanced Practice Provider, you'll provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. Working closely with board-certified pulmonologists, you'll evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, interpret diagnostic testing, educate patients on disease management, and help improve long-term respiratory health.
This role is ideal for providers who enjoy developing long-term patient relationships while practicing evidence-based medicine in a collaborative specialty setting.
What You'll Do
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, and other respiratory disorders
Order, interpret, and review laboratory studies, imaging, and pulmonary diagnostic testing
Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications
Educate patients on disease management, medications, smoking cessation, and lifestyle modifications
Monitor treatment response and coordinate ongoing follow-up care
Collaborate with pulmonologists, Advanced Practice Providers, respiratory therapists, and clinical staff
Participate in pulmonary rehabilitation, weight management, and other specialty clinic programs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using AthenaOne EMR
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving long-term respiratory health

Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain before start)

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
Previous experience in pulmonology, internal medicine, critical care, or hospital medicine
New graduates with strong pulmonary, internal medicine, or critical care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
