Family Physician

General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to

patients in a family practice setting.

Responsibilities

• WellSpan Medical Group seeks full-time Physician, Family Medicine for their
• WellSpan Family Medicine – Stony Brook location – 4222 East Market Street
• Lincoln Hwy location in York County.  Individual must be a graduate of

accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy

degree plus completion of family medicine residency training program.  Must have

PA medical license and be board certified/eligible in family medicine.   Will

provide comprehensive outpatient medical services for family care patients. Will

provide preventative care for infants, children and adults. Will provide

preventative care, immunizations, health education and will order and interpret

lab testing.

Minimum Education

* Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

* Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses

* Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

* Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

* Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training

* Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American

Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required

and

* Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required
