Key Responsibilities
The specialist will adjudicate behavioral health prior authorizations based on medical necessity and state policy guidelines. They will also enter outcomes into the Medicaid Management Information System and provide education to the provider community.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy, along with at least 5 years of clinical experience. A current LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in Wisconsin is required, with a CSAC or SAC license preferred.
