Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Educator assesses educational needs, plans and delivers orientation and continuing education programs for nursing staff. They also monitor clinical competencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff to maintain high-quality patient care outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid NY State registered nursing license and at least 2 years of nursing experience. A BSN is preferred, along with completion of a recognized course for teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.
