Overview

Sentara Port Warwick in Newport News, VA, is currently hiring a Radiology

Technologist to work a full time, weekend day shift.

Hours

* Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 7am - 7pm       

Overview

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within

scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician,

to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct

anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the

electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications,

and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to

patient and completes departmental documentation.

Education

* Trade School Graduate  - Radiologic Technology (Required)

Certification/Licensure

* ARRT (Required)

* BLS
