Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Navigator serves as a cardiac resource liaison for ancillary departments and medical staff to ensure quality patient care. They are responsible for performing assessments, planning nursing interventions, and delivering direct care to adult and geriatric patients.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current North Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license and have at least two years of RN experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, and BLS/ACLS certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
