- Licenses: WI license or willing to obtain
- Certifications: BLS, ATLS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings.
- Manage approximately 40-60 patients per day in a Level IV trauma center with dual provider coverage.
- Collaborate with telecardiology and telestroke services for 24/7 consultation.
- Supervise and coordinate with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) during scheduled shifts.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and Epic EMR system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings. Supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians and ensure accurate documentation within the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. A Wisconsin medical license and current BLS and ATLS certifications are required.
