About the Role

This position will work four days per week within the PSR program and one day per week providing outpatient therapy services. • vision records and logs of clients reviewed. Be responsible for the educational program and interdisciplinary case review provided to therapists during weekly staffing. This may include psychoeducational information, diagnosis and treatment information, case conceptualization and planning, and discussion of relevant ethical, legal, and professional issues. Case reviews must be documented with signatures from all attending staff. Monitor the professional documentation of supervised therapists to ensure that documentation meets CARF and state reporting standards. Participate in face-to-face interviews with clients to obtain information concerning family, emotional, medical, and substance use history, as well as other pertinent information. Complete the required documentation and place it in the client’s file. Coordinate peer reviews according to program guidelines. Formulate appropriate diagnoses using the current edition of the DSM and ICD. Participate in meetings to plan treatment, conduct case reviews, and evaluate adult programs. Review case management, assignments, case concerns, treatment issues, and methods of treatment. Select appropriate approaches for individual therapy, including directive, nondirective, and supportive therapy, and determine the frequency, intensity, and duration of services. Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professional staff to develop comprehensive programs of therapy, evaluation, and treatment. Review and supervise staff involved in the administration and interpretation of treatment plans, program documentation, and diagnostic information. Provide guidance, support, and clinical feedback to PSR staff and interns. Monitor the quality and consistency of PSR services and documentation. Support staff training, program development, compliance activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Provide coverage for PSR groups when needed, including facilitating or co-facilitating groups, supporting group activities, and ensuring continuity of services during staff absences or other program needs. Perform other duties as required by the supervisor. Outpatient Therapy Responsibilities Assess patients’ needs and individual treatment concerns upon admission to the Outpatient Programs and continuously assess throughout treatment. Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals based on each patient’s specific needs. Plan, prepare, and provide individual and group interventions to assist patients in reaching their therapeutic goals. Complete required documentation regarding the patient’s status, response to interventions, and progress toward treatment goals. Staff cases with the Medical Director, Program Director, and treatment team to support effective multidisciplinary treatment. Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy as needed to address patients’ specific treatment goals. Provide individual, group, and family interventions for mental health and substance use concerns, as appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency, CARF, state, and payer requirements. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Park Place Behavioral Health Care. Attend all mandatory training according to agency policy. Maintain client confidentiality. Perform other duties as required by the Clinical Directors.
