Who We Are Looking For

• A graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• An active Louisiana dental hygiene license is required; applicants must be licensed to practice in Louisiana. Your license will be requested for review during the interview process.
• A compassionate communicator who can build trust with children and parents.
• A reliable team player who stays organized and thrives in a busy practice.
• A commitment to excellent preventive care, accurate documentation, and infection-control standards.
• An upbeat, patient professional who genuinely enjoys working with children.
• Prior pediatric dental experience is a plus.

What You’LL Do

• Provide dental cleanings and preventive hygiene care for pediatric patients.
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as permitted by applicable requirements.
• Take digital radiographs, including bitewings and panoramic images.
• Teach children and parents about oral hygiene, nutrition, and healthy dental habits.
• Complete patient assessments, charting, and accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures as needed.
• Review schedules and help appointments run efficiently.
• Prepare and turn over hygiene operatories between patients.
• Clean and sterilize instruments; keep rooms and sterilization areas stocked.
• Follow infection-control procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in practice marketing and community outreach activities.
