About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- will be responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management and will manage patients by exercising autonomous decision making in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of delegated medical treatments.
- will provide healthcare and patient services that may include educational, research, and clinical support, as well as administrative activities under the direction and supervision of the Cancer Service Line leadership.
- Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC or AANP * Must have or be able to qualify for Illinois and DEA prescribing numbers * At least 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred but not required * Previous oncology, urgent care or ED experience preferred * Acute Care preferred Physician Assistant Required Qualifications * Completion of an accredited (physician assistant) educational program * Certification in ACLS and by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and current and/or eligibility for State of Illinois licensure/registration * At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology, urgent care or ED preferred Position Details * Job Type/FTE: FT, 1.
