JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY OF POSITION This position will serve as a Clinic Manager in an Outpatient Clinic with primary responsibilities of supervising a team of Outpatient therapists and if applicable, Outpatient Team Leader. This position will report to the Regional Vice-President and requires a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or approved related field. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative oversight for Outpatient staff (psychiatrist staff, therapists and, nursing staff) and to include caseload management, handling of referrals, monitoring productivity, and offering guidance and support Attend administrative oversight with Regional Vice-President and clinical supervision as appropriate Monitor therapy referrals to make ensure there is a disposition within the time frames. Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner Ensure appropriate onboarding and training for all new staff. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other clinical staff and leaders within Centerstone in order to better facilitate services for clients. Assist in trouble shooting with outpatient staff to ensure their success in providing services. Develop strategy for coverage of caseloads when an outpatient therapist position is vacant. Conduct staff evaluations at intervals determined for all staff on the team. Complete Adverse Occurrence Clinical reviews and provide recommendations for improvement. Complete clinical audits as assigned. Monitor and correct service and billing failures Interview and hire for vacant positions. Coordinate psychiatric and nursing services with the Regional Psychiatrist and Director of Nursing. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods Ability to grow and develop with extensive training opportunities A highly accountable, mature professional who listens actively and leads Self-motivated individual who can set and meet simultaneous short and long term performance Desire to be a part of a proven leader in the world of behavioral healthcare Demonstrates good clinical judgment in decision making regarding consumers QUALIFICATIONS Education Level Applicant must have a master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage/Family Therapy or related field required. Years of Experience Supervisory experience is preferred and/or experience providing behavioral health services with children and teens.
