Key Responsibilities
The Substance Use Counselor provides compassionate individual and group therapy to patients recovering from Opioid Use Disorder. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, managing patient cases, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must hold at least an associate degree in a social or health services field with relevant clinical experience. Proficiency in addiction recovery practices and familiarity with regulatory standards like HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 are highly preferred.
