Primary Care Physician - Saddle Brook

Physician shall provide all appropriate general Internal Medicine or Family care
within the scope of the physician's specialty and license, including but not

limited to

* Maintain the standard of care for the delivery of primary care medicine

services

* Meet all DNV and other regulatory requirements.
* Obtain complete history and record findings in a systematic format.
* Perform complete physical assessments.
* Order, perform and interpret routine laboratory tests.
* Order medications, referrals and or medical devices as needed.
* Ensure that appropriate preventative medicine testing is conducted on a
routine basis.
* Participate with all quality improvement and assurance initiatives.
* Conduct appropriate follow up to ensure appropriate levels of patient care.
* Serve as practice site administrator during emergencies.
* Provide night and weekend call/triage coverage.
* Market the practice through direct physician to physician communication,
community education, community service or other appropriate channels.
* Maintain and implement standards for health promotion and health maintenance.
* Follow current state, federal and local laws governing the delivery of care.
* Provide open and timely communication with patients, families and their
significant others.
* Ensure that appearance and personal conduct are professional at all times.
* Accept and care as applicable for indigent and clinic patients in a manner
consistent with compassionate and ethical patient care.
* Accept all managed care plans accepted by Employer.
* Demonstrate knowledge of current coding guidelines and requirements and
maintain an error rate within hospital guidelines (currently 5% or less).
* Complete required reporting in a timely manner, such as medical records.
* If conducting hospital rounds, ensure accurate and timely billing for
hospital services.
* Submit all bills for outpatient and inpatient work in a timely manner to the
Department of Physician Practice Management Support.
* Use and endorse the use of all of Hospital's automated systems, as
appropriate.
* Physician shall participate in community education and scientific programs as
may be delegated or assigned to the Physician by Chairperson/ leadership
and/or the Hospital’s President.
* Additional duties as assigned by Chairperson/Chief Medical Officer or CEO.
