Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist will compound and dispense prescribed medications while consulting with medical staff regarding drug interactions and patient history. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate pharmacy records and ensuring compliance with all hospital and regulatory procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy and be licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Additionally, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
