• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our friendly brain injury rehabilitation team at Redford Court in Liverpool on a 12 months fixed-term contract.

Main Purpose

To work under the clinical supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological support to the neuro-rehabilitation programme at our Service in Liverpool.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• As an Assistant Psychologist, your role will include:
• Behavioural monitoring with observations, data gathering and analysis
• Producing behavioural and emotional progress reports for review meetings
• Supporting individual service users with weekly meetings and specific activities
• Organising and facilitating groups
• Completing outcome measures and assessments
• We're looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:
• Upper Second Class Honors Degree (2:1) or higher in psychology or equivalent
• Eligibility for BPS (British Psychological Society) graduate registration
• Ability to present and teach others
• Ability to work independently and reliably
• Experience of working with adults with complex disabilities
