Job description
Adelphi is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech evaluation and speech therapy services in a school setting in San Antonio, Texas.
The ideal candidate will provide speech evaluations, therapy, consultations, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) services] to students with disabilities in accordance with District and federal educational guidelines while supporting student [communication, educational participation, and individualized therapy goals].

Requirements
- Current license issued by the applicable state board to perform speech therapy services.
- Ability to provide speech consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech evaluations and determine eligibility for speech therapy services in accordance with District standards.
- Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities as determined appropriate by their ARD committees.
- Implement students' speech therapy services in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Develop therapy plans and recommendations for students eligible for speech therapy services.
- Use District-approved assessment instruments and complete required evaluation reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student evaluations, eligibility, placement, and speech therapy services.
- Provide consultations regarding students' speech and communication needs.
- Supervise speech therapy assistants as needed.
- Comply with required timelines for evaluations and services under applicable federal law and District requirements.
- Maintain required documentation and comply with District standards, policies, and procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned.
