Job description
Adelphi is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school occupational therapy services in a school setting in San Antonio, Texas.
The ideal candidate will assist/provide occupational therapy evaluations, consultation, and direct services to students in accordance with school district requirements while supporting student health, safety, and continuity of care.

Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Previous school-based, pediatric, or special education occupational therapy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and eligibility assessments using District-approved instruments.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for eligible students.
- Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with ARD committee recommendations.
- Attend and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee meetings.
- Consult with multi-disciplinary teams, teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student OT needs.
- Recommend and assist in selection of adaptive equipment and devices to promote student independence.
- Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of OT services.
- Complete and submit all reports, records, and required documentation in a timely manner per District standards.
- Comply with District dress code, administrative guidelines, and compliance policies.
