Manage an average daily census of 9 patients. Collaborate with 24-hour physician coverage for patient management and escalations. Perform admissions, discharges, and daily rounds on inpatient unit. Perform procedures within NP/PA scope of practice in hospital medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite inpatient care, including admissions, discharges, and daily rounds for an average of 9 patients per day. Collaborate with physician tele-coverage to manage patient care and escalations during the 12-hour day shift.
Requirements
Requires a minimum of 2 years of hospital medicine experience and an active West Virginia license. Must be board certified and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
