Job description
Adelphi is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech therapy support services in a school setting in San Antonio, Texas.
The ideal candidate will assist with speech therapy services, student support, documentation, and implementation of speech therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) while supporting student [communication and individualized therapy goals].

Requirements
- Appropriate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credential or certification as required by the State of Texas.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Ability to provide speech therapy support services in accordance with assigned student IEPs and SLP direction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising SLP with the implementation of students’ speech therapy services.
- Provide assigned speech therapy activities under the direction and supervision of the SLP.
- Support students in achieving speech and communication goals identified in their IEPs.
- Assist with therapy activities and exercises appropriate to assigned students’ needs.
- Follow treatment plans, schedules, and instructions established by the supervising SLP.
- Monitor and document student participation and progress during assigned therapy activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to services provided.
- Follow District standards, procedures, and applicable requirements for student services.
- Communicate student needs and observations to the supervising SLP.
- Maintain student confidentiality and comply with school and District requirements.
- Any other duties as assigned.
