Key Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist provides therapy to maximize patients' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. They are also responsible for documenting patient care, communicating progress to the team, and instructing families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess a current, unrestricted state license. A minimum of six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations is required, along with ASHA certification and current CPR certification.
