Key Responsibilities
The Hospitalist is responsible for the direct care, diagnosis, and treatment of hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges. They coordinate care with specialists and support staff while documenting treatment plans in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a medical degree (MD or DO) and be board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. An active, unrestricted Vermont medical license and experience with vent management and running codes are required.
