Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

Mindify Wellness and Care is hiring multiple New Jersey-licensed PMHNP-BCs to provide psychiatric services onsite at partner adult day centers in Sewell and Pennsauken, New Jersey, and through telehealth.

Providers may work at one or both centers based on their availability and each center’s needs. Onsite availability is required.

Schedule

Onsite coverage is generally needed one to three days per week. Our partner adult day centers operate Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 9:00 a. m.–1:00 p. m. or 9:00 a. m.–4:00 p. m. Specific days and hours will be discussed with each provider. Telehealth visits may be scheduled on additional days.

Compensation

• Initial psychiatric evaluations: $70–$90 per completed visit
• Follow-up medication-management visits: $40–$60 per completed visit
• Rates are based on experience, credentials, qualifications, and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteria
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Develop and update treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and side effects
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations when clinically appropriate
• Follow HIPAA requirements, clinical standards, and organizational policies

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must currently hold all required New Jersey credentials and prescribing registrations.
• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New Jersey RN license
• Active New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification
• Current PMHNP-BC certification
• Active DEA registration
• Active New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration
• At least one year of experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner

Ability to provide onsite services in Sewell and/or Pennsauken and telehealth services to patients located in New Jersey

Experience in outpatient behavioral health, telehealth, or working with diverse populations is preferred. Bilingual providers are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

These positions are 1099 independent contractor roles. Mindify provides patient referrals and administrative support with scheduling and patient coordination.

Mindify also provides malpractice insurance coverage and a collaborative agreement for services delivered to Mindify patients. The coverage and collaborative agreement apply only while the provider is actively contracted with Mindify and do not extend to patients seen through the provider’s private practice or another organization.

Part-time or full-time W-2 opportunities may become available in the future based on organizational needs and mutual interest.
