What you’ll be doing

As an Optometrist at Boots, you’ll play a key role in delivering brilliant
patient care – using the latest tech, working alongside experienced colleagues,
and supporting your community with clinical excellence. Whether you're leading a
clinic, responding to triage, or mentoring others, no two days are the same, and
your growth never stops.

Key responsibilities

* Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
* Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert
advice
* Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments,
depending on store needs
* Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
* Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
* Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others
* Playing a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and
insight to every shift

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
* We’re looking for Optometrists who are confident, compassionate, and always
focused on doing the right thing for patients.
* GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
* NHS performer number (or working towards it)
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration

It would be great if you also have
* Experience supporting enhanced services
* A strong understanding of local clinical networks

Lovely refitted practice in charming, Chichester town, which is a train ride
away from London. Personable and attentive team ensuring our customers have a
memorable visit. This is a great opportunity for anyone starting out in their
career and looking to work alongside a supportive experience team.

The Practice is set in the centre of Chichester has 2 senior Optom Residents, 2
resident DOs and a Resident CLO and a student SDO and an established support
team
The practice has recently been refitted and the four Testing rooms updated. We
also have Optomap in the practice.

This position is full time and working alongside a great team.
