The Eye Center of Clark in Clark, New Jersey is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join its team for an urgent opportunity with a desired start date between November and early December. What you'll do

As an Associate Optometrist, you’ll provide comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages, prescribe glasses and contact lenses, diagnose and manage ocular disease, and educate patients on proper eye care practices and optical products. You’ll also maintain accurate electronic medical records, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient care, and use the practice’s diagnostic technology, including autorefractor, NCT, Optos, Zeiss OCT, and Humphrey Visual Field, to help deliver safe, thorough, and patient-centered care in a friendly, professional environment. This role is approximately 30 hours per week, with patient volume varying by experience and day.

Who you are

You are a dedicated, patient-focused Optometrist with a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution and a passion for delivering high-quality care in both medical and family practice settings. Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required, and familiarity with medical coding and electronic records management is a plus. You bring strong communication skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
