Job description

Join Oregon Health & Science University as a Neuro-Intensivist/Anesthesiologist – Academic, Level 1 Trauma in Portland, Oregon, United States. Department Overview The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is integral to the healthcare, education and research missions at OHSU. We provide clinical services at OHSU hospitals and collaborate with the VA Portland Health Care System and Hillsboro Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • OHSU has a busy neurosurgical service, including functional and epilepsy surgery, as well as a cerebrovascular and skull base program and an intraoperative MRI suite.
  • This creates a practice environment with an excellent mix of surgical and non-surgical ICU patients.

Requirements

  • Certification or eligibility for certification in Neurocritical Care is required.
  • Fellowship training in Neuroanesthesia is preferred.
  • Residency training in Anesthesiology and board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology are required.
  • Demonstrated competence in patient care & teaching are expected.
