About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Wayne, MI. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year. Caseload and Environment

Targeted Caseload: Elementary-aged students across one building.

Focus: Supporting students across a variety of needs/programs - including general education and self-contained classrooms.

Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space in each building to conduct sessions and meetings.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.

• Push in to classrooms to provide therapy while supporting and collaborating with teachers.
• Work together with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize student success and safety.
• Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals.
• Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
• Lead and support the implementation of BIPs and FBAs.
• Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
• Support students and families in accessing community resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $57,500 - $75,000 salary based on experience and qualifications (paid weekly)
