Key Responsibilities
The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical and medical procedures while monitoring patient safety and managing complications. They also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current RN license, CRNA certification, and either a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Additionally, BLS and ALS certifications are required to maintain clinical privileges.
