The Veterinary Medical Center Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmacy services and customer support to internal and external clients and students; dispensing prescriptions, sterile and non-sterile compounding and maintaining records in accordance with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy regulations; overseeing drug storage, narcotics inventory and administration; managing inventory in pharmacy and automated dispensing system; maintaining inventory and pricing data in hospital information system; and other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
Position with potential for evenings, holidays, and rotating Saturday mornings; may also participate in rotating on-call duties.
Hiring Range: $52.79 - $64.66

Required Experience
Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio.
Desired Experience
- Experience as a pharmacist in a veterinary setting.
- Physical Requirements
Standing for long periods of time; Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 pounds; Exposure to animal dander and/or zoonotic diseases; Exposure to needle sticks, hazardous chemicals, and/or bio-hazardous waste. Requires weekend, nights, and/or holiday hours.
