Key Responsibilities
The occupational therapist conducts home visits to assess, evaluate, and provide rehabilitative therapy services to geriatric and IDD patients. They are responsible for developing and modifying treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve clinical goals.
Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved occupational therapy school and hold a current license to practice as a Registered Occupational Therapist in New York State. A minimum of two years of institutional or home care experience is required.
