Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced clinical care, symptom management, and treatment for patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and support patients and families throughout the hospice or palliative care journey.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted APRN license in Kansas, national board certification, and a graduate degree from an accredited program. Experience in hospice, palliative care, or geriatrics is preferred, along with strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
