Job Description
Healthcare United is seeking a Neurologist with interest in general neurology neuromuscular or neurophysiology to join a growing neuroscience program in South Central Pennsylvania. This position offers a primarily outpatient practice with inpatient support within a collaborative team based environment. Physicians will have access to strong specialty support advanced diagnostic resources and a robust referral network. Opportunities to develop subspecialty interests and participate in teaching are available
- Provide general neurology care with option to develop focus in neuromuscular or neurophysiology
- Outpatient clinic with support for inpatient consults at affiliated hospitals
- Perform and interpret diagnostic studies including EMG and EEG as applicable
- Collaborate with neurologists neurosurgeons and multidisciplinary care teams
- Access neurodiagnostic technicians and advanced clinical resources
- Strong referral base from primary care and specialty providers
- Opportunity to participate in teaching medical students and residents
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
- Interest or experience in neuromuscular or neurophysiology preferred
- Strong clinical skills in general neurology
- Ability to work within a collaborative team based environment
