Job Id: 102943 Profession: Physician Specialty: Neurology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Westerville, OH Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: FT only (M-F) Mon-Thu: 8a-430p Fri: 730a-4p Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Travel and Lodging Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: 100% adults Average Daily Volume: 14 Case Mix: General Neurology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: 4 APPs, 2 MAs, 2 Office Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: OH Certifications: BLS, COVID Vaccine Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient general neurology consultations and follow-ups Manage patient visits Monday-Thursday 8a-4:30p and Friday 7:30a-4p Collaborate with group of 12 physicians and 4 APPs Document patient encounters using Epic EMR system No call, no weekend duties required
Key Responsibilities
The physician will provide outpatient general neurology consultations and follow-ups for an adult patient population. Responsibilities include managing patient visits and documenting encounters within the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified in Neurology and hold a valid Ohio medical license. Additional requirements include BLS certification and a COVID vaccine.
