Job Description
About AllCare. Ai
AllCare. ai delivers coordinated care to seniors in assisted living and skilled nursing communities across Southern California. Our services include Primary Care, Psychiatry, Podiatry, Cardiology, Diagnostics, Wound Care, and Care Management, supported by a 24/7 medical concierge. Our platform handles documentation and compliance so providers can focus on high-quality care. Clinical services are delivered through our affiliated medical group, Dazzle Health, P.C.
Role Overview
We are building an in-house Specialty Pod so our senior patients can see a specialist quickly, without long waits or insurance roadblocks. The Pod covers the cognitive specialties: Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, Infectious Disease and Rheumatology.
We are seeking a part-time Neurologist (MD/DO) to lead its neurology line. Most visits are by telehealth, with a Care Partner at the patient's bedside.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role with Dazzle Health, P.C. You will be credentialed and bill under Dazzle Health's group NPI, so we handle payer enrollment, billing and collections. You will set the care plan; a nurse practitioner and our care team carry out the follow-through.
Responsibilities
Provide neurology consults and follow-up visits for seniors, mainly by telehealth
Evaluate and manage dementia and cognitive decline, Parkinson's disease, stroke follow-up, seizures, neuropathy and headache
Review records, imaging and labs and return written eConsult recommendations to referring primary care providers
- Order and interpret EEGs through our partner network
- Work with our psychiatry team on behavior and medication plans for patients with dementia
- Guide nurse practitioners who handle follow-ups and monthly care management
- Help shape the neurology protocol: referral criteria, testing and visit cadence
- Keep documentation accurate, timely and compliant
- Active California medical license (MD or DO) in good standing
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Active DEA Registration
- Active Medicare enrollment, or willingness to enroll and reassign benefits to Dazzle Health, P.C.
- Comfortable with telehealth visits
- Experience caring for older adults preferred
- Medi-Cal enrollment preferred
- New patient visit: $110 (45 to 59 minutes) or $150 (60 minutes or more)
- Follow-up visit: $75 (30 to 39 minutes) or $100 (40 minutes or more)
- $25 per completed eConsult
- Paid monthly; reported on a 1099-NEC
Schedule
Part-time and flexible, built around your existing practice. We hand you a starting panel of 200 to 400+ patients in your first 90 days, referred by our own doctors. A full part-time panel is about 90 telehealth visits a month over two days a week, or roughly $8,000 a month (estimated; not a guarantee).
Requirements
Requires an active California medical license (MD or DO) and board certification or eligibility in Neurology. Candidates must possess an active DEA registration and be comfortable conducting patient visits via telehealth.
