Salary/Position Classification

* $50.00 hourly, Exempt

* 2 credits over semester hours per week

* This position is located in Casper, WY

Purpose of Position

Teach OT 540 Evaluation

Duties & Responsibilities

* Teach content related to Evaluation across the lifespan and practice contexts

* Assist in content and assessment strategies development for evaluation across

the lifespan and practice contexts to enhance occupational performance and

participation.

* Motivate, support, and empower students to expand their confidence in this

subject area by assisting them in defining academic success and monitoring

progress for evaluations in occupational therapy practice.

* Meet with students individually and in small groups to reinforce and assist

students with understanding course content

* Assist in tracking student success and other duties as assigned

* Grade assessment strategies related to evaluation

* Maintain student confidentiality at all times

* Assist with preparation and disassembly of the classroom for labs

* Lead in-person instruction of evaluation across the lifespan and practice

contexts

Required Competencies

* Knowledge to properly teach Evaluation of Occupational Performance

* Work independently and as a team

* Must be able to communicate effectively and follow directives

* Successful complete criminal history background check

Minimum Requirements

* Licensed occupational therapist

* 2 years experience completing evaluations with individuals receiving

occupational therapy services

* Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

* Practice experience in evaluation across the lifespan and practice contexts

* Past didactic or fieldwork teaching experience in occupational therapy
