Job Description
Pet Specialists of Monterey (PSM), a BluePearl Hospital, is an AAHA certified, state-of-the-art, 24-hour emergency and referral hospital located in Monterey, on the beautiful central coast of California.
We are seeking a Full-time residency trained or board certified (DACVECC) critical care specialist to join our team of thirteen doctors, including seven specialists. Our facility features a full in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, CT scan, ultrasound, color-flow doppler, telemetry unit, endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and electrosurgical equipment. The environment is face-paced, challenging, and collaborative.
With board-certified specialists in critical care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, and oncology, the ideal candidate will be hard-working, motivated, enthusiastic and able to work harmoniously and effectively with other doctors, staff, and referring veterinarians. As a teaching hospital, all doctors play a role in training new graduates through our rotating small animal internship program.
PSM is located adjacent to the white sand beaches of Carmel and spectacular coastline of Big Sur, offering some of the most pristine beaches, hiking trails, and camping in California. The Monterey Peninsula beaches, and mountain ranges support an active outdoor lifestyle with Fisherman 's wharf, world-class restaurants, art galleries and the Monterey Bay aquarium being a short distance away.

Compensation and Sign-On Bonus
